The Real Question

I've been thinking about David Foster Wallace since I discovered his work. One of his stories I keep returning to—especially in light of his death—is "Good Old Neon."

An essay I wrote about this story after seeing two people on the MAX reading from Oblivion, the book "Good Old Neon"'s in, has been published at www.fictionwritersreview.com as "The Real Question."

Random fact that I don't get to in the piece: I first read "Good Old Neon" on a train, while crossing Montana.
